    We need some of these construction guys in Calgary so these damn projects wouldn't take forever to finish.

    I don't know, it seems inefficient, wouldn't a small hoist with a large pail work better?? That's whay they do in Calgary iirc.

    Step back and re-read your comment. then think about this: THIS VIDEO IS IN AFRICA!

    Labour is cheap, materials aren't. Trust me with this, as I have first hand experience in Mozambique. We started building the foundation of a school, everything is done by hand. Mixing cement, carrying it with buckets, breaking down the rocks for the cement, and making molds out of plywood and rebar. No fancy equipment, electricity or modern tools. You simply make due with what you have.
