Little bit spendy but it seems like it'll work well, havn't been able to give it a try in this weather yet but in my buddy's tercel winter beater on an icy road it clocked a 0-20k time of 4.4 seconds with an estimated horsepower of 38, seems about right on ice.

The graphics are pretty sweet and it's fun to play.
The UFC game is cool for those into it, and Cut the Rope is one of the most addicting ones I've played (got 3 stars on all stages )

As for non-game apps
Sleep Cycle - Tracks your sleeping cycle and wakes you so that you don't feel tired throughout the day
Battery Doctor - Good for managing your battery properly
Spending - Nice simple expense tracker which helps me with my personal budgeting

I don't want a password 2get onto my screen, just my text messages

Viber is a pretty good one for free world wide long distance calls. It's more clear than a normal phone call, but the connection has to be pristine. You will get stutters if one side has weaker signals.

0.03s is a pretty fun reflex game to kill time with.

Infinity Blade definitely looks great, but I suck at using the their defense system..

Anyone know if there is a way to send picture messages via data, or iphone to iphone without a charge? I noticed I'm paying $10/mo or so ($0.50/msg). I thought it used data, but apparently not.

i use whats app for that. but hte recieving person must also have whatsapp.

Oh ok so whatsapp can do pictures too...I'll have to look into that one, thanks.

Is it easy to switch between regular texting and whats app texting? A lot of my friends don't have smartphones.

Whatsapp will also do videos and I think sound clips.

However like I said the recieving phone must also have whatsapp installed. (I think only blackberries and iPhones have that app right now)

As for sending a pic to a non smart phone. I have no idea.

In terms of using whatsapp. It work just like the regular testing on the iPhone.

Sorry I meant on my own phone. I will want to use whatsapp with some people and not others. My concern would be that whatsapp makes itself the default for all texting, when I would want to be able to switch freely between whatsapp and regular texting. Basically I would use it solely to send pictures to those with the app also installed, and I'd want to use regular texting otherwise.

Whatapp is a standalone app. After you install it, you will still be able to choose between normal text via phone, or via the app. It also has its own contact list, you will never get the contacts mixed up.

Picture messaging is pretty simple with whatsapp. It just takes a few moments and it sends the photo within the chat screen. The person can then click on it to view it full size. It uses your data and not picture messaging which is sweet.

The only thing I don't like about whatsapp is the connection. I've had issues with it where I can't connect to it and it won't send messages, but i think it was a firewall setting that I had to disable for it to work properly, and it's been pretty good since.
