Ugly weather out West

So I can see from my window that there is some real ugly weather West of town, maybe Cochrane / Bragg Creek. Anyone out there? What's it like?

its raunchy lol it's just off to us here in CYBW, a small bit came and pounded our hangar hard, its getting really windy too and drizzling right atm, gonna be a biggun!

edit: i'd like to gtfo before the worst hits but i think its waaay to fken late now in matter of a couple mins, its pouring here now

That particular system skirted by west of the city limits... and is travelling SE and should be pounding High River directly at the moment...

Passed high river about half an hour ago, it was pretty bad but only lasted about 20 mins

The largest cell on the radar is going to miss the city as it's tracking NE... it might hit Airdrie/Crossfield though...

There's a secondary cell that is heading towards Calgary though... should at least provide a little entertainment (I like t-storms!)

In Coventry and the thunder is this constant rolling thunder.... no break in between. Just starting to get large rain droplets now but black as heck out.

Holy shit...driving up McLeod right by Bannister rd and lightening hit a pole/transformer. Explosion and fireball was deafening. I saw it in the rear view mirror as I was about 100 yards past it.
