On a sidenote, who is tired of all the fucking jaywalkers during Stampede? Driving to work pass Macleod and there were 5 instances I had to slow down for slow ass groups taking their sweet ass time crossing while I had my green for 5 seconds or more..

Cops would make a killing if they patrolled around the city around this time in the morning.

They have alligator or cricket pizza as a novelty this year, it's at the pizza shop in front of the grandstand.
Spent 60 on misc food on sneak a peek, hope to go again and get more donuts

Maybe i wont upgrade my turbos this year but at least i got drunk at the stampede....

i tried the pulled pork parfait from Big T's, and it was really good. I may try building on the recipie.

This comment is exactly why I don't go to the Stampede anymore.... there's cool things to do there but I'd rather save my money for more important things(ie. camping, new electronics, sports, etc.). A good example, this weekend a couple friends and I went boating and discovered a kickass white shell beach on a small Island called Tent Island in the Gulf Islands.

Love the pea game and color game at the Stampede. Made all the food, games, and stuff I bought free! Under/Over was good too, won lots with 5s and twice with a 20.

By the way, the Big Ts place is near Nashville North. Check out the Stampede Food thread for pics, and don't try the hot beef sundae haha.

Overall this year i found it to be nothing special i went today so it was damp but the crowds were low but so was the JB.....superdogs were moved to make way for figure skating super gay, and their new spot above the big 4 was not cool due to giant poles in the middle of the arena cutting off your view and about a fifth of the seating.

Really didn't like how they dropped the size of the casino to just slots no more table games .

My girlfriend and I both agree now that everyone is cutting trans fats and salts and such the food like the corn dogs didn't taste as good

I assume you didn't notice the BRAND NEW, Stampede Casino just outside the grounds...

looking>me appearently, again i was cold and damp and the upper floor of the big 4 was my usual stampede destination.
