With those bills they don't have alot of security features like the new $5 bills, they do have watermarks but in different locations. The easiest way to check if these bills are counterfit is to put them under a black light and "5" will appear in locations not visible in natural white light.
Also that is not brail in the top corners, if you look at every new bill, it will basically have the same bumps, they are dimples to assist machines in dispensing cash. I work at a bank and a blind person informed me that all divots between bills were the same and none of them said anything.
There are also 10's without that metallic strip I believe but there were very few, and most have been taken out of circulation.
