    Default Best smelling Antiperspirant?

OK I got this Right Guard - Total Defense stick (Fresh Blast scent) last week. It smelled ok at the store, and even up close if I test sniffed my pits. But for whatever reason, I'm picking up some old men smell around me right now. Seems like when it mixes with my clothes and natural smell, it turns into something like an old man's closet???

So is there any recommendations on which brand and scent of antiperspirant or antiperspirant-deodorant smells the most like a mild cologne out there? Better yet, which brand does your gf/wife like the most? Cuz I'm pretty sure what a dude think smells good is different from what I chic thinks. And what da ladies think is probably the most important.

My wife likes Old Spice High Endurance on me, pretty much all the scents, I usually grab a different one every time, so she doesn't get bored of just one.

    edit:
Keep in mind, different scents react differently on people (as you noticed from your Right Guard purchase).

There's this one bath soap from LUSH that smells horrid on my wife, but is good on her sister.

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

I'm fond of any Degree anti-perspirant dry stick.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

+1 for old spice. I use the red zone aqua reef. Its the only anti-perspirant that actually works for me.

But as mentioned it has to do with your body chemistry. Just like choosing a cologne its got to mingle with your skin and oils to truly know how it will smell.

    seriously?

"hey guys, what's the best smelling antiperspirant." that has to be the gayest (as in gay, not homosexual) thing i've EVER heard.

seriously, who cares? don't fall for this marketing BS - they all really smell the same anyhow.

It blows me away some of the questions people ask on this site. Honestly, is this not something you can answer on your own? Are you still being breast fed by your mom?

I got an idea.....trail and error. Figure things out for yourself.

I've had good luck with this one, although I try to get the stick with the least amount of scent to it.

I used to use an unscented one and after moving to a scented one its kinda shocking and almost annoying to smell it all the time.

This one works great and has little to no scent:

    First... A quick fix.

Second... What's so weird about this? I don't want to spend an hour sniffing through the entire rack at the store, so I asked. How is this different from which is the best syn oil, or who has the best pizza in town? Are you gonna go tell them go trial and error and figure it out themselves? I wanted some opinions regarding Health and Fitness so I put it up in here. If you don't like it, then look away and read something else.

NOW back to opinions that actually matters. Old Spice high endurance is pretty good. I've been using that for a while now so I'm looking for a change. Which is why I tested out this new one. I mean if that is already the best, i can always go back, but I am up in trying out something different!

You could always go eau natural, but just a warning, it could have grave ramifications...

I would encourage you to use whichever Anti-Persperant works best at the job at preventing you from perspiring. To me, Scent has always been a side thing with Anti-Persperant - if your interested in scent, use cologne.

They really dont smell the same... Some shit smells like ass, others smell like an awesome wipe on cologne for the arm pit.

... and when you say as in gay, not homosexual, you mean this is the happiest question ever?
