MSN for Mac not working... keeps adding people every time I sign in

I just bought a brand new MacBook Pro and went to install the MSN for mac and now every time I sign in, I get the same 100+ msgs popping up to add people to my list. Some of them are people I have deleted in the past (years ago) others are people I still had on my list while I had my PC...

Anyone have this problem or know how to fix it? My girl friend has the same computer but she got hers a year ago and she never had/has this issue.

I dropped MSN for Mac ages ago because it didn't support sending offline messages, or having conversations while invisible.

The new MSN beta (8.0) is awesome and way better than Adium.

The previous one sucks.

I love how Adium is so customizable. I need help with the thing for when someone logs in on MSN though. How do you make it so it displays a Growl notification and make the sound? I can't seem to figure it out.

I have the same settings for all accounts I use on adium.
Have my customized sounds and notificatoins under events and shows up on all accounts (AIM, MSN, Yahoo, Gmail)

I tried it and mine kept crashing, and the webcam function didn't really work well. Unless they updated it recently, then I still prefer Adium.
