    just a heads up ppl

Environment Canada has issued a warning Calgary may be hit by dangerous thunderstorms later Friday.

A special weather statement read: “This is an alert to the potential development of severe thunderstorms with large hail and damaging winds.

“Monitor weather conditions. Listen for updated statements. If threatening weather approaches take immediate safety precautions.

“A cold front through Southern Alberta will combine with an upper level impulse crossing the Rocky Mountains to produce thunderstorms in Southern Alberta. A few of these thunderstorms could become severe.”
You can technically get a ticket for each window that's illegally tinted. So as above, if you're being an ass to the officer (or if he's just an ass to begin with), he can give you two. (or three tickets if you're dumb enough to tint the windshield of your BMW... but if you own a BMW you can't be stupid right?)

oh, yeah, thanks for the heads up. Time to look for some cardboards and boxes just incase. It sucks when you don't have a garage.

it's starting to drizzle here at YBW, wind picking up and feels cooler than usual, but the clouds dont look as menacing as the last one. ATIS is calling for showers pretty quick here too.

lol, runway is jammed pack with the little piston pounders trying to get down.

i usually use environment canada, the just had this

There's a system SW of Calgary tracking NE and will hit the City in the next half hour or so... does not appear to be overly significant in terms of severity so far... let's see how much steam it picks up.
