I'm going to hijack a little...I am doing the same trip, but I have kids (ages 6, 4 and 1) along, so if anyone knows of any kid-friendly stops along the way, I'm all ears!

Enchanted Forest and the zip line. Also at 3 Valley Gap there's the train museum and helicopter rides.

If you pass through the Enderby Area just before, at, or after dark, there is a drive in theatre right off the highway. That is if you choose to go that route to Vancouver.

Dang, I was just about to post the same thing. Wife thinks the drive is too far so I was thinking of stopping and spending a day somewhere, then driving the day after. Would Kelowna be too far out? Looking at perhaps touring some wineries for the day.

Where would be a good half way point to stop and rest for a day?

enchanted forest x2 (good for kids and adults) - but now it REALLY rocks with the adventure park (zip lines, climbing, rope courses all that good stuff).

Kinda grumpy that they doubled the admission price to the enchanted forest though... Used to be a really cheap way to spend a day - not so much now...
