That door is regularly locked. Use the side door by the smoking benches.

I'd love to check that out. I hear its just surreal, conveyor belts everywhere obviously. Seeing this 400k ft2 place seems amazingly big, but 1million ft2? wow..

Meh its not as crazy as you would think i worked there for 4 months, the size of the warehouse is the only thing that'll throw you off haha

I haven't read the whole thread so excuse my ignorance, but are these guys hiring part time? Because I could use some part time work.

I assume it's a place that is always hiring.

It sounds like a quota based order picking job so they do tend to go through staff on a regular basis.

You never cease to amaze me.... honestly.

Actually no, they're hiring because they're adding 110 more Walmart Supercenters, to the already existing 30 they're currently servicing. They need staff to support the incredible upswing in business.

Can you describe the position without using the words quota, order or picking?

It's a fine job and it's where I started working right out of high school but you are kidding yourself if you don't think it has one of the highest turnover rates for any job.

I hope this post has amazed you.

I used to read your posts when I believed you were somewhat intelligent and your posts followed suit. Every post of your's seems to be either incredibly biased or a mystical poetic haiku of some sort that is impossible to decipher out what you are actually trying to say. I know your trying to be witty but it makes you look dumb.

Yeah of course they have a high turn over rate, hence why I am not there anymore, but that is not the reason for the mass hiring. He meant more in his post that what you said here, while completely harmless, you convey like a total douche canoe. Stop it yo or the homies be coming out with crazy shots.

Calgary403, the new big warehouse opens up at the end of this month, they probably tabled you till then. If not call or go in and talk, couldn't hurt, especially in a place like that.

^ Yeah Turkeys are being delivered to the Millard Freezer right now, For you guys working in that freezer I'd hope so too.
Were you that poor chap I saw on that sissor lift today around 3pm? A 1 min walk through with the new hires today was enough for me.
I have my winter cover alls in my car just in case. If you have any prolonged work in the Freezer, come and grab me, you're free to use them (Rated down to -60)
Staple stock will be going in there on the 25th of next month, so we have a little bit of lee-way.
