h22a4 sputtering

hey guys, so in the last week i have notices a lil sputter from take off at a stop , and now its getting worse,

no problems when im over like 2000rpm just when i go from a stop

i checked my plugs and changed out the fuel pump which i thought it was but still doing same thing

now my thought are the fuel filter but just wanted to see if any one had a common problem like this before i swapped it out

Buddy had the same problem, his plugs and wires looked ok but he changed them, and I think the distributor cap and rotor (Can't remember) but the seemed to resolve the problem in his. I seen a set of performance wires on kijiji the other day and they seemed like a good deal considering what he paid for his.

Just a suggestion, other wise look for a vacuum leak.

ok so problem half solved ,


so today , i changed , fuel filter still sputter, change dizzy still sputter, change coil STILL SPUTTER,

i pop off my plug wires , and the last one has water on it , look in the hole ( with plug still in ) and see a lil water puddle in there do i dried it out and she seems to be working fine now

so any ideas on how the water got there ? i know its not the head gasket cause its to high up, i have not washed my car in a while so im not thinking it that ( but could be i guess )

any other thoughts ?

yeah im going to wait a bit and see if any more water shows up with out washing it or driving it in the rain and dee how it goes
