got a 16 gig for fido from apple store in market mall, they have TONS in stock ( or so the associate told me). Walked in, no line up bs, got my phone and went on my way, nice upgrade from the last phone. An ORIGINAL, i kid you not ORIGINAL iphone from at&t 8 gigs of slow power running on 2.0.1 or something firmware, which made it useless for any app over a year ago. This phone is outta control fast.

How is data on the iphone (ive never had before, only used wifi)i got 100mg/month for 10 and he then offered 500megs for 20$ (plus other useless features) so i chose the 100 mgs for now to see how it is.

How much does a typical light user go through in a month? i know that videos eat up data so ill be more using it for email, fb, checking websites here and there, maps, real basic stuff

at most ive used is a little over 1gb. i think u might want more though. always better to be safe then sorry and get ass raped with charges just my 0.02 =D

yea i realize that if i do go over, i will bee raped with charges, my friend is crazy with his iphone and he said that most hes ever hit was like 500-600 megs and averages about 200-300megs/month, So im just assuming ill likely be using half of what he uses so hopefully 100 is enough, ill monitor the data usage very carefully and up it if i need to, though i really dont (current bill is only 37$/mnth)

i'm kinda worried about going over the limit, also. i've got a 6gb data plan with my iphone. how much data should i expect to eat up if, for example, i stream from a radio station for about 5hrs/day?

I've got a 6GB dataplan. I recently had a BlackBerry 9000 and never went past 500 MB. After a month with the iPhone, I am at 1.3 GB's right now. I have streamed music, but only when I take the bus to work (like 1 or 2 a month) or walk the dog (almost every night). At most that would be about 2.5 hours a day.

When I download apps, it would all be through WiFi at home.

I can barely crack 300mb. Im either at home or work (on wifi)

The only time I hit about 600mb was when I used mywi and tethered my macbookpro and ipad to surf in Invermere.

I definitely dont use up my 6GB a month.

I only use 150 - 200. The only time i DL is when i am at a hot spot and none of the apps use that much data.

On a side note, what radio do you guys listen too?

Are there still daily lineups at the Market Mall store? I refuse to stand in line longer than an hour for a cell phone.

Yesterday was a good time to go into Market Mall for an Iphone. I'm not sure if there are lines today.

i went to market yesterday and literally waited 5 min to talk to someone and he got me hooked up, no line ups at all yesterday. Just call them before you go though and ask

I use AccuRadio and Tunein Radio. Accuradio just plays streaming music. You can fast forward and stuff.

Tune in radio let's you listen to radio stations around the world

I called MM apple a few days ago, rep told me you are supposed to go in to the store to setup an appointment to get an iphone. Not sure if things had changed. Try calling

I went to Clearwest to get a sim card for my Ipad. I had just renewed my contract and was looking for a iphone. I just thought I would ask and sure enough they had lots of 16GB and a few 32GB. I picked up a 32GB.

I had called the them the previous day and someone told me that they had none. Maybe you have to go in person?
Anyways, Mike said they had enough to get through the weekend!
