I'm paying about $80/month with a bundled 550 minutes weekday minutes on a family plan, $20 iPhone value pack, and then 6GB of data. Do you think I could get some things discounted? Maybe the SAF?

SAF no longer exists so thats 7 dollars right there..plus you should at minimum be able to score a 10dollar monthly discount on your current plan.

Yeah, cut it off $30 in total for the entire bill. I don't get why all the other carriers don't charge for texting to US, but Rogers does...

Not everyday, but if they do it's during the weekdays.

Usually they get their shipments around 1030-11, so people waiting in line (they will come out right at 945-10 usually and say they have no stock...this I believe to try and get some people to leave LOL). Then at 1030-11 they come out again and say whether they got a shipment or not.

It's annoying, I am that annoying customer that calls everyday to about 4 different places... Still no luck. Friend told me to put my name on a list at Rogers Wireless so I did, but the store in Southcentre ignored the list and just sold them to whoever was there, so I don't see the point in that anymore. Future shop said they would have some yesterday or today, surprise surprise none.

i quickly skimmed through the last few pages and didn't see (or may have missed) any info pertaining to my situation. They won't let me renew my plan to get the iphone because I just renewed my plan and got a 3G in November of this year. They'll give me 200 dollars off, but it's still 4 to 500 for an iphone 4. They won't let me renew my contract to upgrade hardware to get the phone for under 200 until 14 months before my plan ends so it's still a while.

Some people posted that threatening to cancel and mentioning bell or wind might help, but would that actually help in my situation? the fee for canceling is probably more than 200 dollars anyways so would they just "call my bluff" because they can give me the 200 dollars off the retail of an iphone?
