I wonder how many people are going to try and get their hands on one of these spheres?500 spheres will be released into the river at Edworthy Park and will float down the river to Prince’s Island, where they will be diverted into the lagoon and collected by viewers and volunteers as a keepsake and to continue their story on land.

there's still a couple sitting in the river just west of the crowchild overpass...apparently they got stuck out there by the current.

I also saw blue internally-lit orbs on the Bow on Saturday, could have been a test run.
I had a meeting with one of the organizers from the City of Calgary last week and he mentioned this event, he also mentioned that at the end of the run when they fish the spheres out of the river, they will be giving them away to folks that want them....hope thats true.Originally posted by 98type_r
