Website optimization on google?

Hey. So I have this company www.uswebsitebuilder.com calling me from time to time, they want me to pay them for website optimization on google, yahoo, msn. They say they can guarantee me top 20 position on these search engines under key phrases like Calgary realtor, realtor in Calgary and so on. Cost is 1000.00 for the year. Iam very hesitant as i don't know if this can be done specially for this price.

Does anyone know anything about this that can give me some help?

That might be true, but after taking a quick look at Jordan's site, it severely lacks elements which would help it rank in the engines.

The concept of hiring a company to get you higher in the search engines might be a good one. It is, however, questionable whether or not this particular company could get you there.

If you do plan to do this, I would:
a) As Kenny said, be hesitant to use a company that cold-calls you
b) Try to work out a contract which is performance based. Do they think they can get you in the top ten for that search criteria? Well, you only pay them if you do. If they are not willing to do that, then they are not confident in their abilities and/or are just feeding you a line in an attempt to get you to sign.

Yup they've been calling me as well. But mine was $1200 a year and guarateed FIRST place. I was like... bullshit.

I'm very sceptic of these types of calls.

Oops, I should've been clear. Working with this specific company is a waste of money. Optimizing your site for best performance on search engines is definitely not a waste of money.

these guys want 400.00 up front and in 4 months when they have my site in the top 20 on google iam to pay them another 600.00.

they also guarantee that or my money back, as written in the contract.

they give me 30 keys words, phrases.

How can i optimize my site so it gets searched better? i sell homes not build sites hahah
