    Default Mechanic shop

not worth making a new thread for this..

I need my water/pump and timing belt changed i can easily do this with a couple of buddies. but since the car is still under warranty, i need a receipt(proof it was done professionally) so as the op stated my main mechanic was option-import with them gone can anyone recommend another shop?
so nobody actually answered my question in the wheel stud thread. So I'm making a new thread. its not just for me but my whole family needs a new mechanic(someone who won't "scam" us with all the extra fees)

The place you want to go is Vex Performance. They are currently in Red Deer but will be moving to Calgary before the end of this year which will be awesome. Their shop rate is VERY AFFORDABLE compared to any other mechanic shop in Calgary. They will take good care of you and will NEVER tell you to fix something if it does not absolutely need to be fixed. As a bonus they have also built some really sweet cars including several rally vehicles and a few really nice drag cars.

My dad and I have been going to Mr Volvo Plus for like 20 or so years. Excellent service over there (and more than just volvos )
