Pretty much, yes. The only way it ends is with the bull dying. I almost feel happy when people get hurt in these things, not only do the deserve it, but maybe if enough people get hurt they will put an end to it. I think you need to be sick in the head to get entertainment from that.

It's a drawn-out, torturous affair (spanish-style bullfights). You stab a bull repeatedly to get it mad, then let it get weak and disoriented from pain and blood loss and then kill it. YAY!

Even if the bull gets spared, it's no longer allowed in the ring because they only want to torture easy prey (an experienced bull would not be as easily fooled and distracted and could hurt the "valiant" matador).

Really, the Calgary Stampede (and the rodeo circuit in general) is a day spa in comparison lol

Not that I support bullfighting (I don't) but I'm amazed at how few people actually bothered to read the damned article.

The incident did not take place during a traditional bullfight but during a contest of "recortadores", in which participants try to dodge the bull while staying as close to it as possible.

Such a lost art, reading.
