If someone fakes being police I don't think the police are not going to take that very litely, they'll find the house and show up.
If you feel like being a nice guy and not getting them in trouble with the police just call the house back and tell their parents.

Just a heads up, it could be that they're using a spoof app which alters the phone number that shows up on your caller id. So it could actually not be the people at that number that called you?

yeah there's a couple websites up (or apps, if you've got an iphone) that either
1 - calls two people at the same time, but it looks like they both called each other, and records the entire thing
2 - changes your number to whatever you want so you can prank call away
so, probably not the right number, provided they're not completely retarded.
