    Default Parking Aids for Garages

Does anyone know who sells devices to help you park your car in the garage properly? Laser guided? Ultrasonic?

My new car BARELY fits in my garage with only 2 or 3 inches front and back, and I need something to make sure I dont hit anything, you know, being chinese and all.

My parents rigged up a plastic street hockey ball with string to hit the windshield when the car was in the right spot. Same sort of thing, the truck only had a few inches either front/back

    Edit: Too slow!

Yo bro, are you from that goat Calgary car forum that get salty over lawn care, land rovers and circumcisions? That's straight fire.

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

I saw a device at lift king in cross iron mills mall.

It had a green orange red light, im assuming it had some sort of sensor that finds the front end of the car and the lights are mounted on the wall ahead so you can watch them.

Not really positive exactly how it works or who makes it, but they had a ton in stock.

    sorta like this:

Dude, I can totally relate! When backing in (only way I can) into my garage, back bumper goes over 2 steps and is 1 inch close to hitting the 3rd step, and the front of my vehicle has 1-2 inches on the front...

Thankfully I have one of those backup cameras. And surprisingly enough have never accidentally come in contact to the step (I have to apply the e-brake with my foot on the brake just so the tank doesn't roll forward or back)

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

Liftmaster / Chamberlain sell a little laser point device Turns on when it sees motion - think the idea is to have it hit a spot on your dash/etc.

Should be able to get it at home depot; if not let me know - think we have a few at work too...

We installed one of those cheap laser guides. To set it up, we parked the van in the ideal spot and pointed the laser to a specific spot on the dash. Works like a charm.

Got it at Crappy Tire. Every so often they go on sale for around $15-20.

Calgary is so much like an iphone: iCalgary - There's a bylaw for that.

There's so many different versions; if we knew what kind of car it was it might help everyone recommend the best option.

edit: scratch that, just saw the other thread. nice car!

im surprised that the clk63 is longer than the c63. looking at pictures it seems shorter and more compact.
