First reaction to last night's episode was why spend all that time on that story line if you're just going to kill her off? But I guess they need something to talk about.

Who was that black guy that came at the end and found the church after they'd left. He looked familiar but I don't recall anything specific. I assume he was with them at the jail...but his showing up held no significance for me??

He and his kid were the first two living people Rick met when he woke up out of the coma in season one. He's the one Rick was radio'ing to every day during the first season.

You might also recognize him from Jericho.
