They've shown on a couple occasions that the zombies go into a hibernation-like state when there's nothing around. How they determine that has never been addressed because they also show walkers just randomly strolling around until they find something that gets their attention.

Since these walkers also eat everything that breathes (rats and livestock included), I'm surprised that there is still any wildlife kicking around when you consider the high number of undead with no consideration for conservation.

Haha... I was thinking the same...

Here's my end of the world zombie evacuation checklist:

1) Grab food, kids, guns.
2) Feed cat and Stabilize Gas.

Mind you, I've seen unstabilized gas be good after 3 years on the shelf, and imagine it can last even longer in hollywood, so YMMV.

I thought I'd be able to stop complaining about the show, but fuck sometimes it's just absolutely terrible. WTF was carol thinking just walking out there by herself to fix the pipe. Stupidity is the number one killer in all horror/zombie movies. Do all horror flicks exist in a parallel universe where common sense does not exist???

I think this was meant to show that she didn't give a shit (about her life, or anything) anymore. This was immediately after the scene where she freaks out at the water cooler after dude tells her to watch his sister and she feels conflicted because she's the one that killed Karen.

At least that's how I interpreted those two scenes.

But regardless, she should have died. Just like Tyrone and the million zombies that attacked him and he still got out. Anyone notice that zombies were walking right past Darrell and group?


Anyways, I've looked past logic with this show, but it's really starting to dull on me. It's like they no longer have a direction for it and the plot is going nowhere.

I facepalmed the moment when Daryl was doing the Brian-no-look driving and sure enough. May be he only lives his life a 1/4 mile at a time too.

My guess it was the little girl feeding "Nick", having feeling sympathy towards the walkers thinking they are 'still human'.

Carol demonstrated that she cares more for the group than her own well being. ie: Killing David and Karen in an attempt to not get the others sick. Fixing the hose to bring water to the group, knowing very well it is a dangerous task. Feeding the zombies only puts the group in danger.
