Anyways, the only thing I didn't like about the show which was the same as last season are how they often do things that defy the most basic logic, from what I can tell. For example, they killed a bunch of zombies through the fence, but then later, busted into the prison yard and went hand-to-hand against more zombies. They are so easy to lure over, why not kill every one of them through the fence before proceeding?

It's little things like that which stand out for me, but overall I like the way this is headed more than last season.

I also was upset Hershel got bit and not buzz-cut lady who has no purpose whatsoever on the show except to weep.

My guess is to close the gate instead of luring the entire prison full of walkers with noise they would have to make to bring in the walkers from far away

Because then the viewers would complain that the whole episode was boring cause all they did was hang around the fence poking heads for 40 minutes.

Isn't that what happened for all of season 2? Basic logic says to keep the fuck away from zombies and hide out where it's safe like on the farm, but all the viewers complained season 2 was so boring cause of the lack of action

Overall I thought it was a pretty enjoyable episode. Even with all the hacking and slashing, blood and guts, and limb amputation, the part that grossed me out the most was when the old broad suggested fooling around

Good season premiere, so happy the show is back on.

LOVE the effects and make up on this show, better than any recent zombie movie. Loved it when they tore off the helmet and the flesh peeled off too

Only thing that really bothers my on the show, is absolutely no kick back when they fire any of the guns.

Also heard the first two seasons where shot on 16mm film, thats fuckin cool. Not sure if the third is...

No, cuz if you get bit, you die shortly afterwards from the bite (like every other zombie narrative). But if you're already infected, how's a bite or scratch gonna do any more damage?

Yes there's lots of plot holes but you can't expect a show about zombies to be accurate when it comes to realism lol. How would the guys in riot gear get infected wearing all that equipment? Why are these zombies still even alive after nearly a year? Would they not have starved? They may be brain dead but they are still half functioning bodies. Would the zombies shit and piss all over themselves?

Well the story is that everyone is already infected with whatever is causing the zombie situation. So regardless if they were bit or not, as long as they die, they will become a zombie.
