Tonight's episode was by far the best episode out of any season... I couldn't care less about watching an episode twice but I kept tonight's episode to watch over and over again.

Different people use this thread (and other entertainment threads in general) for different reasons, not just for what happened in the last episode after it aired. Some people use these threads to see if they should expect a good show or movie before watching it.

I completely agree on movies, but I don't on TV shows. If you watch the show, you'll watch all the episodes; hence a story arc.

Nobody comes here to see that 5 people have posted a "good episode" comment before choosing to watch that particular episode. People come to discuss what happened in that episode after they've watched it. This "spoiler" nonsense is worse than a nuisance, it kills the potential convo.

Not really. There have been lots of spoiler conversations in this thread and other show threads. How's it different than any non-spoiler conversation other than what you're discussing is obscured? I'm on other forums that actively enforce this and it works just fine.

The way I see it, it's just a courtesy to people who haven't seen it yet but still want to take part in the conversation.
