Hyundai Stellar Info Requested

Anyone got any good info on 85-86 Stellars?

Did they all come with the 1.6L Mitsu 4 banger and anyone know the hp/trq ratings, rear axle width, wheel size, offset, etc.

My ex-gf had one. I hated that car and it burned so much oil. Come to think of it, I have yet to see a Stellar that didn't.

majority came with the 1.6...the higher end models, man that is an oxymoron, did come with a 2.0 liter...and yes, you can swap in the 2 liter Turbo motor from the DSM...1G though only...

But I apologize as far as HP ratings, I have no idea...

We used to have one but you would have to replace the oil every month for the amount that leaked and the about that burnt. If you are planning on buying this car you better be willing to shovel out the cash for hardcore repairs.
