McLaren fucked up the stop on Button imo. They should've waited out Ferrari and gone one lap further, and would've had a better shot at coming out of the pits with the lead. We saw Vettel do the entire race distance on options, so there weren't really any issues with tire degradation. Even if Ferrari kept on their strategy of waiting out McLaren, they could've forced the hand by running the same strategy as Vettel, who actually ended up way ahead of Webber, even after the "brake problems". I'm not saying Button would've won had they waited out Ferrari, but his chances of coming out of the stops in front would've been better without the extra lap on cold tires, especially when they knew Button had to stay out front and had pretty much no chance of passing on Alonso on his out lap due to his high df setting.
