I am was expecting McLaren to dominate this one but it looks like its going to be another close race.

I didn't get to catch both P1 & P2 but from the look of things it seems like Massa has found his pace, either that or Alonso is running a totally different setup.

I am in Monza for the race this weekend.
It is truly amazing seeing these cars in person. The sound sound is increadible. I first hear the GP2 cars and thought they were loud, then the F1 cars came out. OMG, I am going to be def when I get home. Even with ear plugs, my ears still ring, and the McLaren chrom is stunning.

Monza puts Edmonton to shame. So many things to see and do, exciting atmosphere, and free wifi throught out the circuit. I was walking past the pits and was picking up the teams wifi too. it was neat to see "Ferrari_guest1" on my phone.

here are a couple videos from P2 today

Ditch the earplugs. There is nothing that can even come close to the beautiful sound of a live f1 car. Your ears get used to it after a while. Losing your hearing is only a mere side effect.

As for Friday times, it's Friday times, teams are testing various downforce levels and fuel loads, so it's difficult to tell what's going on. Alonso led both Friday practices last race...

We'll know more at 3am when FP3 is live tonight!

Speed if it's not blacked out in Canada, BBC if you have a proxy. TSN doesn't carry it no more.

Yea, Hamilton was messy all through Q3. The McLaren really doesn't like the softs with the low downforce setup. On a heavy fuel load, the low DF setup should be pretty fast down the straights, should be a good first lap worth of passing.

So weird to see the F-Duct setup at Monza. So much wing. Looks really odd.

Button in front of Hamilton will make things interesting for the McLaren team. I was hoping Massa would qualify ahead of Alonso too, but they seemed to have messed it up in Q3 on strategy... maybe it's intentional, who knows. I thought Webber was in trouble after the times Red Bull put down in Q1 and 2, but he ended up ahead of Lewis.

Really looking forward to the race tomorrow.

Prediction: One of the Red Bulls is gonna take out Hamilton.

    Anyone watching live?

Nope, Red Bull is too slow for that!

Ferarri did the job for them though. Massa on Hamilton & Alonso on Button.

Maybe Red Bull will take themselves out again?

Awesome battle between Button and Alonso today, even if it was obvious that Button was gonna get jumped in the pit stop.

    Disappointed about Hamilton though...
