Same here, best I can find is a "startech" (ehem cheap) branded 41u for $500 on Kijiji, then there's the dual cabinet for $200 but it mentions something about 17.5" deep, thought normal rack equipment was 19"

Saw that kijiji one... 19" is hole-to-hole, the actual equipment will be 17.5" wide. I think the depth on that one was about 24" and I need something full-depth, more like 36"

I have a server rack in my garage that I don't need. It's an APC server rack with doors on the front and back; Has one side missing.

I'm not familiar with where "standard" measurements are taken from... but the unit itself stands at about 80", the space where the equipment would sit is roughly 17.5" x 28".

There's another deal on Kijiji if you're looking for open racks, guy has 3 for $180, I was going to go look but he wasnt available when I was.

They seem a bit old but thats a damn good price if you have a truck to move them and the space to store them.

-I'm still looking for something enclosed and in nice shape.... might resort to fleabay and a trip to Montana to pick it up.

Sorry to keep reviving this (seemingly dead) thread, anyone know of someone in town that sells racks/enclosures new?
No offence but most everything I see for sale used is missing pieces or in rough shape, I'm looking for something that will be nice sitting in my den in the 36-44u size. For the life of me I cant find anyone local that has these for sale new, even considering just buying the rails and building my own enclosure around them. Anyone in IT get their server racks local?

Have used these people (link) back in the day when I was under the employ of TELUS. Quality stuff, but at a price.
