Hey did any of you guys in mech take the energy minor in 4th year? I'm thinking about doing it but, I'm not sure if its worth the PITA electives.
I'm interested in energy but my internship is in mining, do you think the minor would help land a job?

I would say a Petroleum Minor would help the most with increasing job chances, but E&E a close second.

Really? I'm kind of glad our presentations were early April.


I also kind of wish ENGG513 was near the end of the month (ideally last exam with 1.5-2 days to study), rather than the first exam day possible. Would have given me much more time to study for other classes. Oh well.

I was thinking about taking whichever course Dr. Woods is teaching. Any idea how Dr. Sudaks materials course is? I had him this year and he stressed me out but he was a good prof.

Basically I am looking for easy electives, any suggestions?

All I have to say is, stick with it and the rewards will be great. Trust me. Every time I backtrack all the struggles and stresses all the way back to first year, it makes me tingle as I look at my ring and what all 4th-5th years have accomplished. What a great feeling.
