    Default Post Secondary?

I'm only a year from post secondary b/c I'm upgrading but I had many opinions that I either go for U of A or U of L if I can make it but there's also Sait or MRC and others as well and it also depends on what I'm taking. But when getting a job what will get you higher in a field, Sait, College, or University on your resume?

    Anyone experience this?

You and a co-worker have the same job and have been working at the same place for the same time but the other person is paid higher b/c he graduated from a university and you came out of SAIT?

I'm REALLY mad at SAIT right now...so I'm just going to say go to UofC even though it was ranked 12th out of 15 canadian Uni's.

Unis offer a real achievement (Bachelor, Masters, Doctorate...) Sait mainly offers certificates although some courses do give you a full out Bachelors (Bachelor of InfoSyetems Tech etc)

It depends on what you want to do...

I'm at the U of L. Its a very good school. Small class sizes, lots of good, helpful profs, not as much of a bureaucracy to deal with, easy to get into.

On the downside, the school is full of students who you want to smash their faces in every time they open their mouths. And this city is absolute shit, so windy too.

I think university is higher than Sait or Mount Royal.. the degree is more useful in finding a good job.. my sister went to U of A.. didnt do too good.. got kicked out.. went to Mount royal for a year.. worked her way back into U of C.. happy ending

It depends what you want to take.

If you plan to go away for school just remember the costs associated with rent/food/spending money/tuition/books, it really does add up fairly quickly

i don't mind UofC...it depends on what you're taking...but they do scam you by making you take all these electives that have nothing to do with your major..but i guess it makes you more well-rounded? ...i'm doing my third year at the UofC and then heading to UMontreal so i'll get my degree from there
