I don't know about that. I feel like Boardwalk Empire's been at this slow simmer level for a REALLY long time, that it's been hard to really keep track of all the shit that's happened in the last 3 (almost) seasons.

It's finally nice to see all these other character arcs finally get (re-)introduced back into the main plot. And there are so many plots to keep track of...

Capone's story has been hard to keep track of because it's in Chicago and has been sort of weird diversion from the stuff going on in Atlantic City.

Van Alden's is even more distant since he's been on the run, and still hasn't quite worked its way back into the main arc. Now he's playing both sides in the Capone-O'Banion fight, but that doesn't really have too much to do with Nucky.

Harrow has become one of those characters that you really want to succeed (almost to the point you wonder if it's going to mean he's going to die at some point). It looks like he's on a collision course with Gyp and Gillian, and hopefully allying with Nucky. His storyline is also so distant from Nucky that you had to wonder why he was being included in the shows.

Rothstein/Lansky/Lucky has also been distant, but at least there's some kind of connection to Nucky as business partners. Lansky and Lucky stepping out on their own is going to make things complicated for Nucky, like when they tipped off Masseria about Owen.

Gillian is such a twisted and demented person that it's been interesting to watch what she does. But aside from her past connection to Nucky, I don't see what she has to do with Nucky's future. All that's really been established for her this season is that she's delusional, and she runs a whorehouse.

Gyp's been fucking awesome this season though.

I'm wondering if this is the end of Capone in the show now that he's finally served his purpose to Nucky. Then again, with the way the show is written, he'll probably cross paths with Nucky again in 3 seasons.

I was just starting to wonder where Harrow was when he appeared and wrecked shit.

Not really sure myself. He's just a shit stirrer basically. Pretty decent episode tonight. I thought Harrow was going to team up with nucky. Guess not...

Called it! . I think next season they will start going into the Chicago gang wars.. Capones south-side crew vs Obanian's north-side crew and the St. Valentines day massacre.

Nucky fucked both Masseria and Rothstein so hard haha. The best part is Masseria will think it was Rothstein who fucked him.

I really hope harrow doesn't commit suicide...

This season was so slow at the start but finished very strong.

They have so much story line to work with just based on real life history the possibilities are endless.

Best season ever! Every week it is like a solid movie, they never phone it in. Crap now I have to wait for next year to see the outcome. Wish they'd give us four new episodes of The Sopranos and The Wire to hold us over.

Las Vegas will soon start to unfold into the story line as well.
