Yeah, there are still suites that don't have bathrooms. At least its still better than the UK, where they don't have pressurized water (just gravity water off of towers)

They still supply the mountain outposts, tea houses, ranger stations, cell stations, etc with horseback.
    Cocoa $11,000 per tonne.

You can stay in any of the top tier rooms for free. Yes, for free. You can stack vouchers: 1 free night + suite upgrade + suite upgrade = hood rich.
I'm a Platinum member at Sheraton...currently staying in a Presidential room here in Houston. I negotiated a low rate at the beggining of the summer because of how much I will be staying here. I got the suite because I built up points, and I'm still paying the same rater (i.e. lower rate than most regukar rooms).

...back on topic...it would make a decent news story on a slow day I guess.

I thought that Bronco is dirty and greedy is not news by now. Only reason he quits because City Hall is going into deficits the next 3-4 years.

There is no way that anyone that isnt a millionaire will become mayor anyways. Look at any major city, and look at the mayor. Sadly the greeter at WalMart will never become mayor, that's why the chicken dude pulled out.

Doubtful that he was a millionaire prior to his mayorship. However, like everyone in politics, wouldn't you utilize your power to help out your friends or even your own business ventures?

What I found amazing was this:
Bronconnier was re-elected in 2004[1] with nearly 80% of the votes. Only 18% of the population voted, making it the lowest voter turnout for a municipal election in Western Canada

18% of the people turned out?!?

I was at the wedding with the HootBooth last weekend, fun times haha

I was in a Deluxe Room and had a decent mountain view

Edit: The HootBooth is a photo booth with all sorts of accessories you can use to make your photos look funnier(wigs, plastic guns, Kanye sunglasses, coconut bras, etc.)

He was. Bronconnier was president of his own renovation and construction company by the age of 21 or 22. In addition, he has a good pocket of land holdings that he had built up over the years before he even became alderman of ward 6 and subsequently mayor. His construction/renovation company was fairly successful by that time as well, at least as far as I understand. Certainly enough to put him into millionaire status. Sorry, don't know the name of it though.

People generally don't enter politics for the salaries they get paid.

This is true. He owns property along 17th Ave SW where the train connects up by the high school. First General Services, I believe, was one of the many companies he owned.
