Default Who sells and installs turbos in calgary?

    SIR is ready for turbo.

I'm going to rebuild my motor soon but keep getting different awnsers on what parts i should go with. I want reliability so im very picky on this build. Im guessing i could go B16B vs B16A which would give me that extra 15hp.

I'm looking for true advice that people have this car, drive this car and know on things to look out for.

Turbo kit im lost also. Get someone to build it from scratch or a kit.

I would get a kit, greddy offers a fairly decent kit, minus the emanage *yuck*

a 1 off will be alot better quality, depending on who builds it, but ALOT more expensive. Greddy can make a manifold sell for cheaper, because they build 500 of them, rather then 1 of them. It will cost you in the neighborhood of 1000$+ just for a manifold if you get it built.

They have also put more R&D into it, so it will work better im guessing.

If you want to piece it together, alamo is a good place to buy turbos, but you need to do a bunch of math to see what turbo is good for your engine...which kit makers have already done.

    good luck

Sometimes you have to take a chance, whether that be on someone, or something!

stick with the b16a its compression is turbo friendly, b16b compression is 10.8 which will blow within 6 months (ek9.org) trust me i did shit loads of research cause i have a b16b.

I went with a turbo anyways only 6 psi though

I have personally fixed 2 PB manifolds in the last week.
The quality is not what I imagined, and the lead time is huge.
The greddy stuff is cheap, and not likely to fail, but most are log manifolds, which are far from optimal in terms of efficiency.
The very best thing you can do is spend some time reading on forums and even some books, about Turbo systems. Familiarize yourself with the terms and components that go with them.
Do not build the kit/car until you have enough money to do it decent at the very least. Get it tuned immediately after installing, and make sure you have enough fuel and cooling.
    Have fun.
