Nothing quite like a car catching fire in the final lap.

Yeah, at least I had that and Kubica to keep me entertained. I'm still upset though.

I was hoping for Vettel to do something crazy in that last lap.

Poor Hamilton. At Monza he late brakes and clips Massa, front suspension damage. Today Webber late brakes and clips Hamilton, and Hamilton gets rear suspension damage. Just cant win!

I know! So frustrating. Lewis better get his game up with only 4 races left. Any info on how at one point Lewis ended up dropping up to 18 secs behind Vettel?

Good on Redbull for the 2-3. Made me smile when Hamilton went out. He left no room for Webber whatsoever!

Agreed! I'm a Hamilton fan and even I was thinking the same thing when it happened.
Mad props to Kubica, it was great to watch him passing left and right.

    Rear tires went off.

Watch the replays again. There are 3 different angles shown. The external view shows Hamilton was fully ahead of Webber, and Webber brakes a bit later than Hamilton which is how he got 1/2 his car there. Hamilton's in car view shows that he left pretty much 1 car width of room for Webber. And finally, webber's in car shows him braking way late, bouncing his inside wheel on the curb, and straightlined into Hamilton. The collision occured with Webber 100% on the track with his left wheel well off the curb. If it wasn't for that curb bounce, both drivers probably would've made it through.

Unfortunate racing incident (at least it wasn't as ridiculous as the Australia Webber divebomb), didn't deserve a penalty, but it sure does suck with the wrong guy's race ending.

Kubica left the same room for Sutil that Hamilton left for Webber. The difference was that Sutil didn't late brake into that corner and just gave up the position.

Very disappointing race today. Webber has to learn when to know when he is beat. Like rage said he tried it in Australia and it didn't work, Hamilton had him by a car length into the braking zone today. Curious to know what broke on Hamiltons car though... was it the rear suspension?

happy to see Hamilton go out? What did you expect him to do? He caught Webber out stuck behind a backmarker and got a tow on him. You expect him to let off and let Webber pass despite knowing the car is slower than Webber's and he caught a lucky break with backmarkers? Let him pass even though he was ahead? What a snoozer of a race.

I was at the race last night and it was definitely sick. I was at turn 18 up in the stands right above the tunnel. Sweet event for sure and the race was good too!!

Happy to see Red Bull take 2/3. I was hoping Vettel would have a better look at Alonso but props to the Spaniard for holding his line the entire race.
