I see closing the new registration to 'invites only' as motivation to keep Beyond fresh, up-to-date, and alive.

I am not sure if this is the appropriate thread to ask this in but I was wondering how you add to your post count. I thought when you make a post in a thread your post count goes up. My post count say I only have approx 250 posts, but if you search all posts by my user there are over 800. Do posts have to be made in certain areas to have them count towards you post count?

I believe only posts in the "car Forums" section counts towards your post count.
