2003 Brabus K8 (modified SL55)
Had the pleasure last weekend of seeing some speed next to a Brabus K8. It was quite possibly the best looking car I have ever seen in person.
20" Brabus Wheels look quite good in those wheel arches.
Anyway, the specs are 550hp @ 6,200rpm & 780 Nm of torque at 3,000rpm. This machine is truly awe inspiring.
Makes me wish I didn't just buy a house (well almost).

Ahhhh! I would have loved to see a Brabus.
In case people don't know, a Brabus is a Mercedes Benz. Here is some pics:
0-60 in 4.4 seconds and top speed is 300 km/h about.

Wow. Are there different models or is it just the SL? I remember reading somewhere that they are tuners for Mb is that correct?

Both Brabus and Renntech have kits for the new V8 Kompressor engine.
Renntech has a 540hp bolt on kit (pulley, ecu, I/H/E) as well as a full bore and stroke job that takes the engine to over 600hp. Brabus has the above mentioned kit that takes it to 550hp. All these mods are available for the E55 ('04), SL55 ('03), S55 ('03), and the CL55 ('03).
Now just gotta figure out where to find that $20Kfor the kit when my E55 shows up...
