93 Camaro Z28 (The fast one)
01 Trans Am WS6 (The cute one)
Esla T6 Dog Sled (Not cute, not fast, scary as hell)
It looks like a Viper with a Vette badge
Is it just me or is GM starting to copy all the other companies for their designs. Did you see the HHR they are coming out with to compete with the PT Cruiser - it has almost the same design cues except for the Chevy badge. Style has always been a strong point of the North American manufacturers, but it seems like GM has ran out of ideas.
That's a nice car, but I wouldn't want to drive around in a car that rips from another cars design.
Whats with the rendering by Jim Mclain? Looks chopped to me but looks kool.
Rev high, ride low.
Viper front-end and Corvette rear-end
I dunno, yeah it has cues from other cars...but I like the progression of it...From C5 to C6...I think performance wise from what I have been reading about it it will be a force to be reckoned with...
GO GM
...@therealarifjina...
THe 427 badge doenst look real either
Rev high, ride low.
Its photoshoped.
Its a photoshop of the C6. This is an idea of what the ZL1 will look like.

The SSR is obviously styled after the 55 chevy trucks not the pt cruiser. try not to make yourself look dumb.
Do you have a problem reading English? HHR and SSR are not the same vehicle (thought you might pick up on that since the letters are different - maybe I'm giving you too much credit??).Originally posted by goldnova350

The middle is the HHR, the left-most is the SSR.
But thanks for taking care of the dumb look for me. I was afraid I'd end up with it. Oh and welcome to the boards

My bad, coulda sworn that said SSR. I guess I'm the one that looks stupid.
Wow - its odd that the pic I had in mind was from beyond:

There have been 2 revisions to the design of the HHR. I posted the previous pic so it was easier to see the difference between the HHR and SSR.

No worries d00d. I was probably not reading it with the coolest head at the time so sorry for my reply seeming harsh.Originally posted by goldnova350

So where pray tell is all the style points being awarded?? Japanese imports? umm... yeah sure. Corolla is such an inspriing design - why its so memorable, it should come in a big white box stamped "car". Style is an opinion thing, but when you look at all the new cars coming out on the market, the style kings are the domestics. Sure there are exceptions. But then again, the imports have some cool styles too. Exceptions to every rule.Originally posted by Hollywood

FORD-FORD LIGHTING vs CHEVY-CHEVY THUNDER
^^^^^^^^^^^^^
i see alot of thinking went into this idea
It is frustratingly reliable, truly the cockroach of automobiles.
I wonder if the new 'VETTE' will be able to take the Ford GT ??? 500hp vs 625hp. thats as much as that mercedes SLR !
C6 Vette looks okay...but is still too large for my tastes...'65 vettes had it right, size wise for me.
SSR and HHR should be scrapped and put into real cars like the Solstice and other more 'INSPIRED' models. what were u thinking GM...really. hhr....ssr...sheesh
