After changing the head gasket, with a lot of help from this forum, when running the engine, there is a lot of moisture comming from the exhaust. I have only run it for maybe 45 minutes total, and driven around the block twice, to make sure all is fine with the repair.
It hasn't been that cold here, so what I see following the car, is a lot of exhaust comming from the muffler. It is not sweet smelling and heavy such as before with the bad gasket, nor is it the smell of oil. It has no odour.
The tops of the pistons were covered with about an inch of antifreeze when I took off the head. Could this just be the motor getting rid of the coolent and everything else from before the repair?
Also, there is a small pin hole at the end of the muffler, under the end pipe. There is black guck dripping from it. Is this also part of the problem?
Thanks again
