    Question Lotsa Moisture from exhaust

After changing the head gasket, with a lot of help from this forum, when running the engine, there is a lot of moisture comming from the exhaust. I have only run it for maybe 45 minutes total, and driven around the block twice, to make sure all is fine with the repair.
It hasn't been that cold here, so what I see following the car, is a lot of exhaust comming from the muffler. It is not sweet smelling and heavy such as before with the bad gasket, nor is it the smell of oil. It has no odour.
The tops of the pistons were covered with about an inch of antifreeze when I took off the head. Could this just be the motor getting rid of the coolent and everything else from before the repair?
Also, there is a small pin hole at the end of the muffler, under the end pipe. There is black guck dripping from it. Is this also part of the problem?
    Thanks again
    Paul

im gonna say that the Moisture from the exhaust is normal every car does that, its the reason why all exhaust pipes rust, unless you have a aluminum or titanium system the Black gunk is basically carbon soot mixed with water nothing big there either more or less normal operation for a car who is slightly rich running on 87 or lower octane with a few hunderd thousand km's on it..

    Thumbs up

Seems it just needed a good run. Everything looks good now. Friday.... Drive clean test and Safety, and hopefully licensed too.

it should just be water. nothing to worry about, it is actually a good sign that perfrect combustion is occuring.

not sure what type of system you have but if you are running a carborated engine you need to lean out your jetting to get rid of the black gunk. Engine will be more efficient and should produce more power. if its injected...I have no clue.
