lol, it's funny how you knew that I posted that.

We're still in the condo, we have it until November 15th... so we're trying to find something with immediate possession. It's some pretty crazy timing, as our Honeymoon is on November 24th... it'll be one thing after another

Just bought my first home in July and moved here in Sept. I have a condo in Country Hills...it's definitely an upgrade from living in Rundle. It's great being 5 mins away from Deerfoot or Stoney, having a pathway and manmade lake outside my door and being close to superstore, empire theaters etc. Only complaint is the commute to downtown but I'm getting used to it.
Everything I'm not made me everything I am...

Upgrading from Bridlewood (two storey, unfinished basement, three car gravel pad) to Parkland (bungalow, finished basement, detached double garage).

Built my first house and moved in July. Happy with staying here for another year or 2 but then I wanna rent out my house now and buy a condo closer to the inner city to live in.

So true. I'm looking to upgrade and I found a lot and a builder that will do a 4 car front attached (that I can't afford, but nice to look once and a while). I told them it's all about the garage, I don't care about the house. They looked at me like I was from outer space. Wentworth SW.

what do you think of that affordable housing type condo's going up in bridgeland? Studio's starting at 131k, 1 bed @ 181k, 2 bed @ 263k. Largest unit in this apartment complex is just going to be shy of 1000 sq ft.

We really wanted to build inner city, but I just couldn't justify the cost/sqft.
We just went from the Aspen area to inner city. Cost/sqft is a huge shocker and so are the homeless people wandering around your house/going through your garbage.
We stopped checking for monsters under our beds when we realized they were inside us.

We're in Altadore now just bordering Marda Loop, we didn't build with anyone here, house was already up. Last place was with Stepper though.

Really happy that I don't have to deal with the traffic going glenmore west before 69th and lower springbank anymore.

Especially homes which are within 2-3 blocks of bus stops. Allies always have questionable people lingering.

As mush as I hate my drive some mornings, it's not enough to get me to move into inner city.

Is that south of Marda Loop? That's still quite aways out from downtown. You have bums out that far? LOL crazy!

I'm actually really surprised, we're 30 blocks from 17th so I didn't think the homeless would even travel this far, especially when most of the trip is up hill.

I'm not so worried about them taking bottles, I just don't want them touching my tool.

Yeah, just south. That's what I said! Where do these little fuckers sleep at night, it's surely too far for them to walk back to the drop in centre.
