I could see how it could be considered a sport. From reading their website, its meant to be more of a training tool, training yourself to use both hands equally well and improve motor control. Would be good for a sport like basketball.

WOW! I watched that video over and over and over, it's just perplexing!

"Just think of the sports where both hands come into play: dribbling and shooting a basketball, catching and throwing a baseball, landing a lacrosse shot, serving a tennis ball, or stick handling a hockey puck."
I can see the elite athletes training for the 2004 Olympics practicing their cup stacking as part of their daily regimen, alongside strength-training, plyometrics and cardio.

"We couldn't have won the gold without practicing our cup-stacking" LOL!

"Cup stacking itself also stands alone as a sport conducted tournament style."
    Correct, ALONE.
"All these years I thought it was power that brought responsibility. It's not. I was wrong. It's responsibility that brings power. It's knowing what needs to be done that brings strength. And courage." - Peter Parker, Earth X
