    I don't think this line of thinking is all that new. The CBE is trying to move in this general direction but it takes a long time to shift the way the people think about what is the best way to "educate" the kids.

    Wicked vid. Hard for a lot of programs to stay relevant these days, and the people trying to make them relevant are only making the kids pay for it. Good post

    Public school has less to do with education and more to do with obedience and indoctrination. It's no surprise how slow and stagnant innovation is under a centrally planned system, not to mention unnecessarily expensive.

    ^ It reminds me of the speed limits we're forced to obey that were crafted in the 50's and 60's and are only relevant for writing tickets in most situations now.
