So what's the legality on gun racks in the truck? I've been googling and everybody seems to think something different. If the gun is in plain view and you're not in the vehicle, that's not legal storage and I get that, so window or roof mounted racks are out of the question. But what about a rack that mounts behind the back seat of my pickup? Or alternatively I've seen them that fit nicely underneath the back seat? I'd much rather store them in my vehicle than apartment...

worst part is definitely when the dudes smacking it with his dick like that inside out anus owes his dick some money.
I wouldn't store them in your vehicle. It's just way too high of a probability of break-in.Originally posted by woodywoodford

My friends and I use "gun racks" (basically pouch blankets) that hang off the headrests on the back seat. Great for transport and organization. Again, wouldn't catch us leaving firearms in our vehicles. I could also imagine that if by chance you get towed for parking, or get into a collision, that it could raise a few eyebrows if noticed. The only exception I would make would be a permanent solid-mount trigger lock/rack (I forget the name. See them in wholesale all the time). But that only holds one long gun.

Tap, Rack, BANG!
Likely going shooting tomorrow from early-ish morning until mid afternoon if anyone cares to join. Doing some 100 yard work and will likely stretch out to 1050 yards or so. PM if you want to tag along.
Really eyeing the Sub 2000. Love the folding, compact design.
Does Macleod Trail C. Tire still sell guns? I'm sure their selection is limited, but I'd like to check it out if they do....

Admittedly, I only have one scoped rifle (not sighted in yet) so I'm probably at shorter distances than you.
I'll PM you my contact info and perhaps a group can get together for an outing some weekend.
Just thought I'd drop this link here. Found it amusing.
Be careful when teaching your other half how to handle your gun!

What type of case do you need to fly with Air Canada - Toronto to Calgary. I need to pick up a .22 of mine and bring it home.
I'm not too worried about theft from the airlines so can one these suffice?

Or do you need something hardcore?
Its cheaper to ship it back then fly with it, Air Canada charged me $50 for carrying an unloaded rifle magazine..
A few of us are heading to Homestead on Saturday morning to put some rounds through the rifles and give a solid work out to the new trap thrower. If anyone is interested in joining, let me know.
Are you heading out early morning, as to avoid getting shot or maimed? If so I could be interested.Originally posted by statick

That's the plan, but it depends on a few of the others going; were it upto me, there'd be a 5.30am departure. In any case, the latest we'll leave is around 8am.Originally posted by KRyn
