Glock's are pretty good at taking most ammo without an issue. Ammerican Eagle as mentioned is really easy to find at most places and is pretty cheap.
TSE has 9mm in stock in bulk.

Canadian BDX is fine.Originally posted by TomcoPDR
You tried Canadian bdx?
I have yet to find anything my Glocks never fired.
Keep the brass!
BDX, Western Munitions, American Eagle, or anything that is on sale at the time. Buy by the 1000 (or 1200-1300 with BDX) and you get the most 'bang' for the buck.
Roughly $225-250 per 1000 rounds I find is reasonable.
I did 1,000 of that Russian waxed, corrosive, re packed stuff on sale from TSE during Easter sale. (Green boxes). A few jams with it, and CSC officer guys suggested I should clean gun every time you shoot this corrosive type of ammo.Originally posted by Mitsu3000gt

Guess I should just try different stuff out 100 at a time.

I might be a little paranoid, but I'd always clean any firearm ASAP after using corrosive ammo. I shot 5-6 rounds from my SKS the other day, and still stripped it and gave it a full cleaning and re-oiling within half a day.Originally posted by TomcoPDR

Tactical Gopher/Can Hunter almost complete.
Just waiting on the laser/light, magpul front grip, and will be good to go haha.
With Corrosive it is best to clean right away. Some swear with the boiling water method. IMO its the easiest as it actually dissolves the salts from the primers.Originally posted by TomcoPDR

Its a debate whether or not it's needed but, all you do is pour 2 liters of boiling water all over so why not?
In Calgary though, since we have such low humidity you can get away from not cleaning it all the time. I personally never did this but i know a few people that don't clean after shooting corrosive.
lol well you need tons but you can either recycle it for scrape or sell it to people who reload like meOriginally posted by TomcoPDR

After corrosive session I found the pressure blowing steam cleaners after hot water works wonders, one of those walmart ones for like $20 iirc.Originally posted by GQBalla

Reloading is expensive to start up, but once you really get the hang of it and know what your doing it can be cheaper in the long run. Especially for calibers like .40 and .45, or other harder to find handgun calibers. I friend of mine reloads shotgun loads. Gun powder/primers are technically explosives and their are certain storage rules. If you are not okay with having these in your house then reloading isnt for you. You also have to let your insurance company know you have these components in your house so your covered just in case. Most companies are good and wont jack up your rates.Originally posted by TomcoPDR

As previously mentioned, you can sell the brass to other people who reload which will help cut down your ammo costs as well. When shooting at outdoor ranges its common courtesy to clean up your brass/shells anyway, so you may as well get some money back for doing so

Canadian BDX doesn't have the greatest track record of returning calls/inquiries
Buy more then 4 to make it worth your gas and time.
Any Beyond gun experts buying anything from them anytime soon?Originally posted by GQBalla

Anyone here have a Mossberg 715T and turned in your 25 round clips yet?
Wondering what the new clips look like.
I dont have one, but I saw the new ones at the show. They look really short, almost like the AR-10 short mags, unlike a normal AR mag.

Anyone one have experience with the Gen4 and Gen3 Glock17 9mm?
Been given a bit of advice that I should be looking at a 3 and not the 4.
Any comparison between the Glock and the Sig226? They are both about the same price.
See Crank. See Crank Walk. Walk Crank Walk.
That's like asking Blonde or Burnette, it's more about getting both.Originally posted by FraserB
