Now that his pal has arrived, how do I sell/transfer ownership to him? Like is there offical paper work that needs to be filled out? A bill of sale? Do I have to notify any government agency? etc, etc.

I'm not 100% sure how it works for non-restricted, especially without the gun registry now (believe you just need to verify they are 18+ and hold a valid PAL), but this should help:

Assuming it is non-restricted you simply have to verify he does indeed posses a PAL. At which point you can hand him the firearm; end of story.

If it is a restricted weapon you must go through the proper steps. Contacting the RCMP with both your RPAL information and his. At which point the RCMP will begin the transfer process. Very straight forward and easy to do.

What are the facilities supposed to be like? Do they have a decently long range?

Edit: Ah yes, it is the trap and skeet range. If you go, report back on the prices & membership etc. I would be interested in knowing all of that. I have been to Silver Willow a few times and it is a great time; very challenging and very expensive.

Looking at a Remington 700 sps stainless in 30/06, anyone have any opinions?? I'm getting a steal of a price on it.

Remington 700's have really shitty stocks, so if you're looking to get into any decent precision shooting, factor in the cost of upgrading it. Great aftermarket support though so you have a lot of options. If you're using it for hunting, then it's probably not a big deal.

Here is my SR22

Its all stock with all the Ruger add on rails, Burris AR-P.E.P.R. scope mount and Millet DMS scope.

Fun gun to plink with and shoot gophers. I have the original box and all that stuff.

Haha woo found a flex system pistol grip. Now to just find a flex system tactical foregrip and a 20inch barrel.

Fun for hunting/range or something I can play in the bush wish.

Its hard to find parts locally for the Mossberg Flex system, but man its a breeze. I can go from full stock to pistol gril in about 10 seconds.

Playing with some hot .357 loads yesterday that dirty_sohc baked up.

Just picked up this little guy the other day. Marlin 1894 in .357/38 Special. Broke it down last night and cleaned/lubed it up. I'm excited to take it out for a few test rounds, though will sadly need to wait until the long weekend, or get conveniently "sick" and unable to go to work sometime this week.

With at least a few folks on the board into shooting, we should get a spring/summer outing together sometime.
