Tiger Woods 2004 (PC)

Ok I've played the Xbox version and it's just an arcade version (you pretty much can't slice, there's flaming golf balls, Happy Gilmore swings etc).

I have the PC version and it's an evil golf simulator - very hard. Wondering if anyone else plays it and if there be any tips.

I ain't got 2004, I got 2003, and I don't really think there is a huge difference in the controls.. just more courses better graphics, and more golfers....

So for tips.. just go to the practice range, and hit balls.. like real life and train your hand to pull back straight and push thru straight... or you could put your mouse up against the side of a book and that will help you keep it in a straight path for hitting the ball...

Unless they have changed the controls alot in the game you should be able to pick it up pretty quick,..

Geoff, I've been playing it ever since it came out.. my guy's stats are in the 60s.. but i stopped after i picked up some new games.. it's a great game though, i have 2003/2004 on ps2 as well.

At first it was brutal then I figured not to rush, and now I hit it 100 straight every time (kinda gets a bit boring, but it doesn't matter much I guess). First tounament they were +8 etc, I was -10.

Was more wondering if there are any of the arcady X-box things, funky camera angles - you know, the weird/cool stuff.

my longest drive is like 416 or something, wind directly behind me, and i think its power shot or something, flew the damn green.
