Black Ops Zombies! You get 2 different types of games with it plus a campaign and regular MP.
I thought of that after I posted the thread...but I think I might want more than just camp-and-defend zombie killing.Originally posted by beecue

Is the Zombie game style just like WaW? i.e. you and others in certain levels fending off waves of attacks?

I got a copy of Left 4 Dead 2 I could part with. Let me know.
The Zombie add on for red dead redemption is the best of the zombie games IMO and it's almost as lengthy as your average game these days.
Really up to what you feel like, L4D2 is a GREAT game with friends. Solo its pretty fuckin boring if you ask me. There's also light (and good) story elements in L4d2. it was also on sale (last i checked) on steam for like 7 bucks.
Dead Rising 2, I've heard is pretty decent, and the co-op is actually a lot of fun, but it's more of a single slayer slash fest ala dynasty warriors, substitute hordes of rebelling chinese for zombies and there you have it
L4D2 for sure. L4D is king of zombie games imo.
Yeah it's the same but the maps seem way bigger. There is also the overhead arcade game.Originally posted by freshprince1

Red Dead Redemption might be a good deal too. You can purchase the add-on disc for like $30 at the end of November which doesn't require the original game.
I totally agree, I love it but... it gets old quick.Originally posted by ZEDGE

I have LFD2 on xbox 360 you can have for a 6 pack of New Castle. It's virtually new.

- L4D2 has better multiplayer mode.
- DR2 is a better 'sandbox' type game. Lots of different items and combos.
If you want to kill new style fast running zombies with guns, and bring 3 friends along, Left 4 Dead 2
If you want to kill old school slow zombies, solo or with a friend, with a huge variety of weapons, including some hilariously gory ones, a humvee, chainsaws on motorcylces, etc. than Dead Rising 2.
I never get tired of killing zombies in DR2. After the first play-thru, I don't even bother with trying to save the civilians, takes too much time away from the slaughter.

Yeah it was a pretty good DLC, worth the $ imo. but as for the length of undead nightmare, i would say it wasn't as long as an 'average' SP campaign for a normal retail game, that's why it was DLC.Originally posted by heavyD

i think it was about 3-4 hours or so for me in total, but the replay value and 'nostalgia' in playing RDR again was worth it. almost made me want to restart the RDR main story again which is waaay longer because of the world events and side missions you encounter: about 10 hours or so if you sped through and just did the story only, 15-20 if you take your time to do just about everything. The zombie survival MP thing they just added is also great, jsut played it yesterday with 2 random players online, we made it to about level 10 before we all died simultaneously and no one could revive e/o just was still pretty epic getting to that level, hard as hell.
DR2 is great if you have a friend to play with for online coop, go through the whole game properly the first time around, the second time have fun and just go zombie killing, i have yet to finish it because other games came out lol but tons of time invested into it and it will have replay value for sure. Sandbox (somewhat limited tho imo) zombie killing genre is why i bought it.
L4D1 and 2 are both great, they are THE leader in FPS zombie survival imo. For the PC at least, if you get sick of the developer made maps/campaign, theres always hundreds of custom made maps and campaigns you can dload and play online with ppl for free, some of which are just as good as developer made content, since the game's 'zombie horde director' will just spawn the hordes/special zombies according to how the level is made. it gets to be a very addictive game especially on the advanced mode playing with friends or just random online guys.
Great opinions guys, thanks for sharing.
I've got XBOX360. I think i've decided to wait for Black Ops, since MW is the only game I play really.
But msommers, your trade sounds like a good deal to me. Let me know if the deal is still on the table.

Add me up if you want to play when it comes out. I've been playing solo but it's pissing me off because I keep dying when I'm not expecting it. I think I've figured out the main map, the new spider zombies suck.
Maybe just me but i loved DR1 but was pretty dissapointed with DR2. I dont know i just couldnt get into it.
