Anyone recommend a Board Game??

Im looking for some ideas on a board game...something good for a 2+ people maybe a few beers on a friday night for bored people to play??

Risk.

It gets so heated and is so much fun.

but, takes like 4-5 hours lol

Zombies!!! especially when you get the expansions to make a giant map.

Or, our favorite drinking board game

Pass Out in which every turn your either taking a drink, making someone else drink, or smoking (but since none of us smoke cigarettes, we're a little more creative with the smoking rule)

Monopoly's always a classic for my friends and I, same as risk when we feel like sitting for more than a few hours.

Cranium can be fun but you need more then 2 people for sure.

Haha, I just got a new board game today. Cranium!!! Played it last night and had to buy it. So much fun, basically combine pictionary, charades and trivial pursuit together and you get Cranium. Tons of fun, especially if you make it a drinking game.

Axis & Allies, takes about 2 hours to learn. Next pick is Risk, 6 players, $20 each winner takes all. Then you'll know who your friends are!

Ticket to Ride is a pretty interesting game, games usually last an hour-hour and a half and involves the use of some strategy. Could be one to consider.

I used to think Risk was great till i played Catan

Nice nice, anyone play Things?? We bought that game after playing it in Mexico and its hilarious! Play it with coworkers to loosen up or play it with good friends and it'll get hilarious right away

Great games suck in that they take so long to set up, learn and play. Still my faves are Axis and Allies, Diplomacy and Risk.

I like Cranium and Sequence too.

Let me say that in my group of friends we are NOT the board game playing type. One time we tried Apples to Apples and we've been playing that every chance we get. Like I said we are not game playing types but pretty much everyone who has played it with us got their own copy. So fun, you make it what it is and it is easy for anyone to pick up. Funny with the family and friends if you have a sense of humor. Best played with a handful of people or more though.

Catan is fun. Also quicker than risk. Catan takes 30 to 45 mins per game.

Cranium is sick, me and my friends bought every possible versions and expansion pack until we ran out and reused the cards or made our own. My gf found a new cranium pack for my bday! Going to go slow with it this time though.
