Decided I'd stick my neck out and make a courtesy post here for other beyonders.

I was shopping for a car for my girlfriend earlier this month and spoke with this guy a few times.

Long story short; he intentionally misrepresents the car as having a clean, clear accident history. He knows that the carfax and autocheck are clean...

When confronted with the fact that the carproof shows an over $10,000 accident he admitted he knew on the phone.

Amazingly (and stupidly, I admit) I still wanted to deal with the guy and with the accident history in mind was willing to offer a totally reasonable price; but the guy stopped calling me back.

Anyways, red flags galore my fellow beyonders.

Sorry I didn't get back to you. In hind sight I should have texted you back saying I wasn't interested at the time.

Yes, this car was involved in an accident, and I must admit, I wasn't aware of the extent of the accident when I purchased this car. It has been fully repaired at Acura and everything is in perfect running order now. The status of the vehicle is normal, and not rebuilt. Sorry if this caused any confusion.
