If we're talking games, here are a few that defined my childhood:

Scorched Earth!!! One of my first games. All the options and weapons had me enthralled, and I've been a PC gamer ever since.

My first driving game. It was really easy to make custom tracks, and the game was so much fun.

Commander Keen. I played them all, fucking loved this series.

Of course, in this same era, Lemmings! The later levels were so fun, but pretty damn hard.

So many awesome games at that time. I would get shareware from London Drugs for $5-$10. Or some people would hook me up with a floppy.

^ About so many of these nostalgic video games, you guys should google a good NES Emulator, and then download the games as ROM files. I have tons of impossible to find old NES & SNES games that I play on my computer. You can actually buy a SNES controller that plugs into your computer via a USB port

Anybody remember the old flower/Devil sticks?

Definitely two of my alltime favorite games.

EDIT: Remember this fad? you were only cool if you had a set of Dr. Martens. lol
