Reminds me of when someone busted open a 1Dmk2 pack and found there was nothing more than NiMH AA batteries inside the $250 battery pack.

Most things use those cells, like laptop batteries:

The only problem, is taking apart the packs in order to rebuild them. I can tell you from experience that laptop ones are definitely NOT meant to be opened.
